Bagdad - In Iraq Hostage taking has become a business, in a land where people are poverty stricken and governed by violence, chaos and corruption, see criminal elements foreigners as a form of income, as described by a security advisor. German business men are spending a lot of money on protecting themselves in Iraq.

Normal Close protection is no-longer an adequate form of security here, such as Physical protection and Executive protection as seen and used in Europe as this is a war zone, where even the basic security standards no-longer apply, said Peter Flucks. He is a Bodyguard instructor at the German TÜV academy.
